BVI Crewed Catamaran Charter or San Blas Crewed Catamaran Charter, You Choose
The first thing to consider when deciding your catamaran charter in the Caribbean, is how do you want your vacation to be. There are many differences between catamaran sailing charters or any other catamaran charter destination in the Caribbean and our San Blas catamaran charters.
Do you want action or just relaxation in uncrowded anchorages and islands, you want to feel nature at its finest or you want the ability to go down to the bar and interact with other tourists or even party?
When choosing a wild destination such as San Blas, you are choosing untouched nature and an opportunity of learning about the interesting Guna culture, for the most part inhabited islands and huge coral reefs. Our services are all included charters so no need to worry about any hidden charges.
We offer you a unique experience in San Blas.
How to get to San Blas:
By land:
- Pick up from your hotel (5ish in the morning) in Panama City with 4×4 jeep (up to 4 guests per car) and taxi boat transfer
- Price is $75/person/way
- Mandatory $20/person entry tax paid to the indigenous and $2/person tax for port use.
- Open water taxi, no cover and possibility of rain
- Total travel time around 5 hours, realistically
- Checkout at 6:00 - 7:00 Am, you lose total time of around 8 hours in San Blas if you do not fly in
Self-drive:
- A van or regular car won't do, you need a 4x4 or you will not be allowed by officers through the border. It will take you a bit less than regular transfer because you won't stop at the supermarket. It’s a good option to save some money and live the experience. You can park your car in the San Blas port for a few $ and it will be guarded during your stay.
- Full diesel tanks, there are no gas stations on the way
- Do not say you are coming to a boat to the border officials or you will probably have to turn back
- You will still need a water taxi to take you to the catamaran. For that LAM tours works the best.
- Mandatory $20/person entry tax paid to the indigenous and $2/person tax for port use.
Flying:
- 2 passengers for $700/way, maximum carrying weight including people and luggage of 450 lbs
